No, we’re never going to get sick of cute animals running on the field at serious sporting contests.
Especially when they are likely the best player all game, as in the case of a cat which ran onto the field of a Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens game on Thursday night.
Entering the field late in the fourth quarter, the cat was a bright spot in what was an otherwise dull blowout. Also, please listen to the commentary, courtesy of Tony Romo:
Cat on the field. What a purrrr-fect ending! #TNF pic.twitter.com/jdDtIw6vdv

On a lacklustre night for the Dolphins, there were plenty of jokes about this feline being a better performer than Miami’s entire offense.
This cat gained more yardage in 9 seconds on the field than the Dolphins did all night. #Dolphins #Ravens #TNF #MIAvsBAL pic.twitter.com/bhgZGju6Rc

“What was the best thing the Dolphins did on Thursday night?”
“A cat ran on the field and over to their sideline.”

A black cat ran on the field, and straight to the Dolphins’ sideline, on that last failed play. These things write themselves, friends.

I just don’t understand how a cat gets on the field like did someone bring their cat to the game or did the cat buy a ticket like what how

And yes, there’s even already a Twitter account for the cat on the field.
I’m just out here to show Miami I can suit up and be the new leading rusher.

More random animals on the field in future, please.
