Imagine the cutest cat imaginable. Now imagine harder. It’s still not as cute as this cat.
BBC One’s upcoming documentary Big Cats revealed a segment about the world’s smallest feline, the rusty spotted cat.

That’s almost inflammatory cuteness right there. Weighing in at just over one kilogram, the rusty spotted cat has unleashed a tidal wave of online cute-fury.
OMG my little heart just burst!!!!!

Some even expressed concern that media exposure of this little felines will endanger them.
I wish for their sake they would’ve stayed unknown. I can see them becoming the next designer pet for the wealthy, as a status symbol. They’ll be in some women’s designer pocketbook walking down Rodeo in Beverly Hills or on the upper west side of Manhattan😞

Great now the illegal sale of theses cats will skyrocket and they’ll suffer as they won’t survive in city dwellings & may attack humans given their lack of domestication.

Super rare and super cute – I hope nobody tries to traffic them. They are “wild” animals – not “pets”

Here’s hoping the rusty spotted cat remains wild and tiny for ever more.
